The following Garmin GPS units are compatible with chirp
- Dakota 20
- Oregon 300, 400t, 400i, 400c
- Oregon 450, 450t, 550, 550t, 600,600T,650,650T
- GPSMAP 62s, 62st, 62stc
- GPSMAP 78s, 78sc
- Montana 600, 650, 650T
- Rino 650, 655T (not yet confirmed)
- Etrex 30
- Fenix (because off the small screen very hard to use)

The following are not compatible with chirp because they do not include ANT+ wireless hardware support:
- Dakota 10
- Oregon 200
- GPSMAP 62
- GPSMAP 78
- Etrex 10, 20
- Rino 610
- All eTrex, GPSMAP 60/76 and nuvi models
The following are compatible with chirp because Garmin has provided a software update: (not full functional)
- Colorado 300, 400t, 400i, 400c
