Het is januari 2011 als ik mijn eerste chirp cache plaats. Nu bijna 4 jaar later is het tijd voor een nieuwe chirp cache. Meer informatie kan je vinden op geocaching.com (link volgt als cache online is) Wel je de cache info gelijk downloaden klik dan onder de kaart om de gpx data te downloaden. download gpx. (locaties op de kaart kloppen niet precies) Hieronder nog enkele foto’s van op de route.

Garmin monterra with android and chirp

Garmin announced a new android based outdoor gps called Monterra. The gps support ANT+ and is also able to receive chirp signals. When there is more info available, I will let you know. garmin.com monterra.
garmin oregon 600 chirp cache compatible

The oregon 600(t) and 650(t) are fully chirp compatible. They are shipping in the USA since last week. For EU costumers they will start shipping from next week. With the built in ANT receiver you can do chirp caches as well. (it looks like it is faster then my old oregon 550) I did tried it on my own chirp cache Next week some geocaching info about the oregon 600 /650.

A new start is made to the chirp-cache.com website. It is now part of gps-info.nl , but all chirp related news will be posted in english. This way I hope I can keep more up to date with new chirp info.
