The software is terrible bad:
– The Google/Bing map to adjust GPX to video does not work
– The Overlay can only be all or nothing (including stupid Virb Logo). It is not possible to only show speed without height,
– Speed is completely wrong or not shown at all (1,6 km/h instead 6 km/h, 6 instead 20)
– To hard compression, on youtube it looks bad (it looks much better if the recorded original is uploaded)
– No possibility to ad titles, no effects between scenes

Filmed with Virb, GPX with Garmin Oregon 650
Hi M7880,
I had also some difficulties with the program. On the garmin Forum there is ready some info about a update.
When you go to your settings and change the decimal notation from , (comma) to . (point) the gpx file is shown with the correct map.
In the export there is still no map visible.
regards,
guido
I will test it.
But the bad video-quality makes it useless.
The Garmin Virb Logo but no possibility for titles and own logo is not really a video editor …
Editing the same material with Windows Movie Maker comes here:
http://youtu.be/08Apt_BeDwk
It will be a double action.
1) enter speed/ cadans info in virb edit.
2) create a real movie in movie maker/ pinnacle.
Perhaps it will be possible later.
Comparing the results from virb Edit and Movie Maker:
– Movie Maker has some compression-problems too, at least after youtube-upload (the local file looks a bit better)
– But I think, it is much better than the Virb Edit result.
There is a new version available:
